He Has Won
03:52
|
|||
Welcome happy morning!
Age to age shall say
Hell today is vanquished
And heaven has won today!
Lo, the dead are living
In God forever more.
Him, there true creator,
All His works we shall adore.
He has won
He has won
Hallelujah to the Son
He has won
He has won
He has won
Earth, her joy confesses,
Clothing her for spring.
All fresh gifts return
With her returning King.
Bloom in every meadow
And leaves on every bow
Speak his sorrow ended
As we hail His triumph now!
Lord you come with fire!
Brighter than the sun.
Jesus, you inspire
Life in everyone!
Loose the souls long prisoned,
And bound with satans chain.
All that now has fallen
Will raise to life again.
Show thy face in brightness
And bid the nations see.
Bring again our daylight
As day returns with Thee!

The Day of the Living
04:28
|
|||
With the sunrise all my little skeletons are gone.
You have shown me how to keep my bones moving on.
There's no reason to keep my little tragedies around.
They've been buried so I don't have to lie in the ground.
So rise up children who live in the dust
The day of the living is here
We lift our eyes to the morning sun
Who dries up all of our tears.
The grave is empty
Our coffins to rust
The day of the living is here
We'll dance and sing with the Risen One
Who drives away all of our fears.
All my loved ones and all my little family who've passed
Wait in silence to fill up their hearts and their glass
Light a candle for all my little criminal marks.
Snuff them out Lord and take back your place in my heart.

Empty Graves Pt I
04:15
|
|||
I. You know I nearly died.
I nearly gave up the ghost.
I felt the heat on my toes.
The fire was burning.
Out. I heard you digging me out.
I saw the shovel and spade.
I saw your hand as you moved the dirt away.
Oh, empty graves
And empty coffins,
They're the reason that we sing.
They're the reason that we give ourselves to you.
They had found me guilty as charged.
They walked me out in the yard.
I felt a chill as I saw the nooses swinging.
But oh, I felt the rope go slack.
I heard the gallows crack.
Why did He do it? My God had set me free!
|
||||
5. |
||||
Death won't you row me right over to shore.
Tell me 'bout the ones who were here before.
You carved every name in your skeleton hands.
Every man passes, but few understand
That good enough ain't good for nothing at all,
'Cause death takes a swing and the good enough fall.
At least that's the sense that I get from the news.
Nobody's safe from the weapons we use.
Oh, my God.
We were wrong, we were wrong all along.
Been sailing 'round this lake of fire
Where good boys go to die.
Twenty-nine years I've been digging my grave
Building a house for my head to lay.
But all of the beams that I hung were decayed,
And when that flood comes again they'll wash away
Oh, muddy water. Oh Salton Sea.
Pray there'll never be room in your arms for me.
'Cause all that we love will be thrown into fire
And if it comes out, then it's fit for desire.

Some people cry when the night is all around
Some people lay there and moan.
Still others fear that their lives are over now
But death isn't gonna take me baby
Death isn't gonna take me
Some try to rest safe inside the Ivory Tower
Built out of carbon and bone.
Trying in vein to avoid that awful hour
But death isn't gonna take me baby
Death isn't gonna take me
Oh my Lord has paid the price for me
For my friends and for my family.
When you get tired just keep on
You've got a God to lean on
And then you'll find death is not the end.
Some people burn
Burn their candle at both ends
Some flicker out in the breeze
And other's shoot bright like a firework
As they try to outdo their friends
But death brings them to their knees baby
Death brings them to their knees
Oh my Lord has paid the price for me
For my friends and for my enemies.
When you get tired just keep on
You've got a God to lean on
And then you'll find death is not the end.
Jesus wept for Lazarus
Jesus wept for all of us

Leviathan
04:07
|
|||
I have no sympathy,
Sympathy for the devil.
His time is at an end.
Light the torch, and slam the gavel.
Tied to that wicked stone
The same that held the Lion.
We'll gather round the fire
And watch the serpent as he's dying.
Cause he hates the rescued sons and daughter of Adam.
For his crimes against the bride his ashes scattered!
I have no sympathy,
Sympathy for the darkness.
Black smoke will clear the air,
While choking out the heartless.
Oh, every dark and evil thing
That the grave has left to offer
Burns for all eternity
With that old demon on the alter.
Leviathan go to hell!

I didn't get to be the man
Who named the Earth and held Your hand.
I didn't get to sail the ark
And land it on Your loving heart.
I never had to hold the knife
And stare into my child's eyes
Not knowing what Your plans could be.
But seeing faith laid out for me.
But You have made me who I am
In the image of the Lamb
I will not regret a thing
In the service of the King
I never saw You in the cloud
While leading all of Israel out
I never heard the trumpets sound
And watched to see the walls come down
Oh I never fed 5000 strong
Or ruled over Babylon
I never heard the angels sing
As kings knelt down in offering
I didn't see what Peter saw
The day they put You on the cross
I know that I'd have done the same
And ran and hung my head in shame.
Oh I may not be like all the rest
But Lord I feel it in my chest
The purpose I can finally see
To be who You would have me be.

The Answer
03:52
|
|||
Where do I go when my courage is spent?
Jesus the light and the glory.
When I'm surrounded who else could defend?
Jesus the light and the glory.
You're the answer for once and for all.
Ohh Jesus without you we can't climb this wall.
What do I speak of when all seems a loss?
Jesus the light and the glory.
Who put the nail through my death on the cross?
Jesus the light and the glory.
Why do we always abandon the call of
Jesus the light and the glory?
How did this one man absolve us of all?
Jesus the light and the glory.
Jesus without you we're blinded like Saul.
Ohh Jesus without you we can't climb this wall.
